Sat at the leadership table, reporting to the founder/president, partnering with heads of marketing, sales, tech and operations on company goals and revenue growth strategy. Aligned cross-functional teams on creative and product strategy.

We drove significant topline growth (2022–2024) through updated branding, modernized user experience and product expansion under my creative leadership all while leading editorial and art commissions, creative direction, and new business support for wholesale.

Managed production of 20+ book titles, 30 contractor collaborations, 3–5 new formats, and in-house manuscript development—all at once, and always with a smile!

Team & Culture Building
Built and scaled a high-performing design team for growth, expansion, and a second brand. Recruited top creative talent and fostered a collaborative, adaptable culture. Led with an empathetic, strengths-based approach, tailoring management to a multi-generational team and optimizing hybrid work. Always championing team connection, I organized Lunch & Learns, celebrations, and meaningful moments of belonging.

Branding, Marketing & User Experience
Closed the gap between product and marketing by hiring a top-tier designer and fostering cross-functional collaboration. Led the creation of two brand style guides, modernizing and re-inventing branding, packaging, websites, and marketing assets across all touchpoints.

Product Strategy & Development
Streamlined product launches, collaborating across editorial, design, product, development, production, sales, and marketing. Increased SKU output by 200%, introduced upsells, new formats, and category expansions, and launched translations in five new countries. Established a 1.5-year product development timeline, fueling bestsellers that rose just under legacy titles.
